- POSITION SUMMARY**:
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Requires working in the service wing area receiving deliveries for the facility.
- Moves incoming products to proper storage locations and rotates stock as necessary.
- Frequent heavy lifting of 50 pounds or seldom 51-100 pounds with assistance of another employee or cart.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of all storage areas and equipment in the service wing and kitchen.
- Participates in weekly staff meetings and training.
- Assists in serving meals daily and meal counting.
- Obey all safety rules and regulations.
- Report unusual conditions, questionable items and any incidents to the Operations Supervisor and the on-duty Supervisor.
- Assists trainers in set up/break down of all in-house trainings.
- Work weekends and holidays as required by Supervisor.
- Serves as backup for Cooks including daily food preparation and kitchen clean up.
- Perform daily cleaning duties in the kitchen as assigned.
- Working in outside gardens, may include planting, picking, and weeding.
- Must be able to work for extended periods sometimes under hot, humid conditions.
- Travel in County owned vehicle to obtain building supplies at local stores.
- Sweep & mop floor including deep cleaning activities two times per year.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- High School Graduate or GED with a valid automobile driver's license and insurance.
- Experience working in the food service/service wing fields - Serve Safe Certification preferred.
- Must be able to work with and adapt to troubled teenagers in a secure facility.
- Proficient keyboard and computer skills.
- Maintain proper security in the food service and service wing areas.
- Must be able to stand/ walk continuously throughout shift.
- Work schedule will rotate and include weekends and holidays. Starting and finishing times can rotate daily.
