- POSITION SUMMARY**:
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for administrative direction and oversight of all behavioral health treatment services for the Department of Corrections.
- Manages all contractors associated with behavioral health services.
- Designs, implements, and manages behavioral health projects and programs appropriate to setting and program needs.
- Develops and monitors departmental goals, action plans, and outcomes.
- Provides supervision and consultation of case management, clinical and support staff.
- Responsible for development and administration of budgets.
- Seeks and completes grant applications, as necessary. Manages all grant reporting and programs.
- Responsible for completion of all required administrative and professional reports to department and other monitoring agencies.
- Reviews and consults in clinical case and treatment planning for the provision of treatment services inside and outside of the institutional environment that are sensitive to criminal justice requirements.
- Participates in case conferences with internal and external departments regarding reentry planning and needs for individuals involved in behavioral health services.
- Acts as a liaison with clinical care providers, funding sources, and other county agencies as needed.
- Represents department in speaking engagements and conferences regarding behavior health and criminal justice issues.
- May conduct assessments and evaluations for other criminal justice and treatment agencies, as needed.
- Performs similar duties as required.

- Master's Degree in social or behavioral sciences or Combination of education (minimum Bachelor's and CADC) and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three year's clinical experience in behavioral health treatment services (evaluations, assessments, case plans); Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2.ASAM Certified.
- Minimum of one year of clinical and administrative supervisory experience.
- Background in criminal justice philosophy preferred.
- Experience in grant writing and management preferred.
- Proficient in PA-WITS, GPRA, Egrants, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of reporting requirement of monitoring agencies.
- Excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Minimum of five years' sobriety for recovering applicants.
- Must clear criminal background check.
