CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as a Credit Analyst II. This position will be ON-SITE at our Jackson location.
JOB SUMMARY
The Credit Analyst II is responsible for independently analyzing and underwriting commercial credit relationships of moderate complexity. This role partners closely with commercial lenders to structure credit solutions, assess risk, and support portfolio management activities. The Analyst II demonstrates a strong understanding of commercial lending, credit policy, and financial analysis.
DUTIES

· Independently analyze commercial client financial statements, tax returns, and related documentation to assess creditworthiness
· Prepare loan presentations for loan committee, which includes preparation of loan application, financial statements, cash flow analysis, and risk assessments
· Perform underwriting commercial credit requests in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
· Monitor assigned commercial loan portfolios, including financial performance, and risk trends
· Maintain accurate and complete files and documentation and provide updates as needed to business partners
· Collaborate with Mortgage and Consumer lending to assess and grade commercial and self-employed borrowers
· Completes and updates various reporting for Loan Committee or Board
· May provide informal guidance to Credit Analyst I staff
· May perform various other duties as assigned

- Communicates on a regular basis with members of management to offer advice and opinions concerning laws, regulations, internal controls, policies, or protocols.

- Communicates on a regular basis with external auditors, examiners, correspondent banks, and other bank related agencies and vendors.
