A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD VETERINARY TECHNICIAN:
As our Lead Veterinary Technician, your days are filled with purpose and excitement. You start by assisting with clinic flow, ensuring each patient receives the care they need. You take new technicians under your wing, guiding them through our clinic's policies and procedures. Throughout the day, you lead by example, facilitating weekly technician rounds and effectively communicating with all team members. Your leadership skills shine as you mentor your colleagues, manage patient assignments, and represent the best interests of our clinic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 2 years of experience in a leadership/management position in an animal care setting
- 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician
Preferred:
- LVT/CVT/RVT certification
- 4-year degree
