Job Description:
The Marketing Coordinator will conceptualize, coordinate, and execute events, trainings, and programs for CountryMark and CountryMark branded dealers. This employee will have internal and external communication and marketing responsibilities and will provide team support in performing a variety of marketing functions. Due to the nature of the role, occasional overnight travel as well as work commitments outside of normal business hours is required.
Responsibilities:
* Organize, coordinate and host external and internal functions, conferences, trade shows, training events, and customer events, from planning through to closure, including responsibilities such as communicating plans with all involved parties, managing budgets, choosing locations, arranging schedules, selecting entertainment, choosing vendors, selecting menus, sourcing accommodations and arranging transportation for attendees, and creating and distributing marketing material.
* Attend functions and events to ensure that operations run smoothly, troubleshooting any problems or issues arise during the function/event.
* Conceptualize and source branded promotional items, consulting with suppliers, negotiating costs and delivery dates etc.
* Seek opportunities to build internal CountryMark brand champions, providing employees with valuable brand resources.
* Write content for social media sites as well as the company’s internal newsletter.
* Assist in graphic design as needed for sales materials, social media, presentations and web pages.
* Produce the company’s annual sales promotion book, which outlines for its dealers the company’s both sales tools and incentives.
* Manage CountryMark’s online sales and brand management tools, including but not limited to its Retail Locator, Retail Inspection Form, Member Portal and Lubricant and Equipment Online Store.
* Responsible for AP and AR activities related to marketing events and programs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
* At least 2 years previous experience in event management
* Familiarity with Adobe CS (preferably InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
* Established network of contacts in the event industry
* Event planning certification
* Excellent planning and organizational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
