Wellness Coordinator – Country Village Senior Living Community
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Wellness Coordinator to join our leadership team at a senior living community. The Wellness Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care by coordinating caregiver and med tech schedules, supporting clinical operations, and serving as a vital link between residents, families, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily caregiver and medication aide schedules to ensure adequate coverage and quality care.
- Support the Wellness Director/Nurse in monitoring resident care needs and implementing service plans.
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff to address concerns, resolve issues, and promote resident satisfaction.
- Assist with new resident assessments and move-ins, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Provide leadership, support, and direction to care staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records in compliance with state regulations and community standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall resident well-being and community operations.
- Assist in training and onboarding care staff as needed.
- Step in to support other departments during special events or high-need situations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage schedules and resolve staffing concerns efficiently.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to resident care.
- Knowledge of state regulations and best practices in personal care homes (PCH) a plus.
- CNA, CMA, or LPN background preferred.
