Curriculum Coordinator
Are you an experienced early childhood educator who loves helping teachers grow, improving classrooms, and creating meaningful learning experiences for children?
Country Kids Day Care is looking for a Curriculum Coordinator to support high-quality teaching and curriculum implementation across our classrooms.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with teachers, observing classrooms, organizing curriculum resources, and helping ensure children receive consistent, developmentally appropriate learning experiences from infancy through school age.
What You’ll Do
- Support implementation of our Frog Street curriculum across age groups
- Review lesson plans for completeness, intentionality, and developmental appropriateness
- Help teachers with lesson planning, classroom setup, routines, and instructional strategies
- Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback
- Mentor and support new teaching staff
- Help plan and coordinate curriculum-related staff training
- Support teachers in adapting activities for different developmental needs and learning styles
- Review child portfolios and classroom documentation with teachers
- Manage curriculum materials and distribute resources to classrooms
- Coordinate classroom supply requests in an organized and budget-conscious way
- Work closely with the Center Director to identify opportunities for classroom and program improvement
- Assist with center leadership responsibilities, tours, field trips, special events, and opening or closing procedures as needed
- Provide additional leadership support when the Director or Assistant Director is unavailable

- Comfortable observing classrooms and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Able to balance curriculum leadership with the day-to-day realities of a busy childcare center
- Positive, dependable, and willing to jump in where needed
Preferred Experience
We’re especially interested in candidates who have:
- At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience in a licensed early childhood setting
- Experience with curriculum implementation, teacher coaching, mentoring, or professional development
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience with Frog Street curriculum is a plus
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it
Candidates must also be able to complete required background checks, health screenings, orientation, and training.
