Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist in implementing daily lesson plans and activities designed to promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care and support during meals, nap times, and personal hygiene routines.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging children to express themselves and interact with peers.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and CUBS CARE CENTER policies.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education or child development is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and work effectively in a team environment.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Basic knowledge of child development principles and safety regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Availability to work on short notice and flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.
