Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed
- Support team members in special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks to uphold overall cleanliness standards
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality industry standards is highly advantageous
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently using appropriate equipment and chemicals
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering thorough and consistent cleanliness
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
