Job Summary
The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments in a hospitality environment. Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with any additional custodial or housekeeping tasks as needed to support hotel operations.
Skills
- Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with floor care practices and housekeeping management is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
