Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure safe and effective results.
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas as required.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Utilize cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols to ensure a thorough job every time.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles, including janitorial or housekeeping management.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform outdoor work when necessary, demonstrating flexibility across different environments.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling activities involved in deep cleaning tasks.
• Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and deliver personalized service.
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning tools and techniques as well as general custodial experience is preferred.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
