Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel rooms and common areas to ensure that our guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. You will work closely with other members of our housekeeping staff to provide high-quality service and meet our guests' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures
- Change linens, make beds, vacuum carpets, and dust furniture in guest rooms
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors
- Restock and replenish guest room supplies, such as toiletries, towels, and linens
- Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner, responding promptly to their requests and inquiries
- Maintain a professional and clean appearance and adhere to the hotel dress code
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
