- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, occupancy, and other operational metrics to support management decision-making.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including reservation modifications, guest check-ins/check-outs, and handling special requests with efficiency.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems and in person, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff security throughout the night shift.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, incidents, and communications during your shift to ensure accountability and smooth handovers.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a focus on night audit functions.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or equivalent hotel software.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, phone etiquette, and problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns effectively.
