Housekeeping Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and hygienic. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Execute janitorial tasks in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Carry out floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain the appearance of floors.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on facilities to identify any repair needs or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning roles, including janitorial and custodial experience.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and standards.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation for buffing and maintenance.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
