We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team. This role is the heartbeat of our overnight operations, you'll be the friendly face greeting late arrivals, the problem-solver handling guest needs, and the financial steward ensuring our daily accounting is accurate and complete.
Schedule: Full-time, overnight shift
Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday (occasional weekend coverage as needed)
Type: Fixed schedule with consistent hours
What You'll Do:
Guest Service (Your Primary Focus)
- Welcome late-arriving guests with a warm, professional check-in experience
- Process guest check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Respond promptly to guest requests, needs, and concerns during overnight hours
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Ensure our lobby and public areas remain welcoming throughout the night
- Provide exceptional service that reflects our brand standards
Financial & Audit Responsibilities
- Complete daily Night Audit procedures following Choice Advantage PMS system protocols
- Balance all guest accounts, transactions, room charges, and payments
- Process invoices, refunds, and adjustments with accuracy
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Verify that all accounts reconcile properly
- Prepare End of Day reports and system closeout
Communication & Follow-Up
- Summarize nightly operations in clear, actionable shift reports
- Document any maintenance issues, guest concerns, or follow-up items for day staff
- Communicate important information to management and incoming shifts
- Flag any urgent matters requiring immediate attention
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software systems
- Excellent attention to detail with a natural aptitude for numbers
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine desire to help guests
- Reliable transportation and ability to work the overnight schedule consistently
Preferred Experience
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience
- Background in hotel front desk operations
- Familiarity with accounting procedures or bookkeeping
- Experience with property management systems (Choice Advantage/SkyTouch is a plus)
