Job Summary
Country Inn & Suites in Aiken, SC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team. This overnight role is crucial for keeping front desk operations running smoothly, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring guests receive exceptional service throughout the night. Duties
- Perform nightly audit procedures to accurately reconcile the day’s financial transactions and guest accounts.
- Handle late-night check-ins and check-outs with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate reservation, cancellation, and billing records.
- Promptly address guest concerns with strong customer service and effective guest relations skills.
- Keep the front desk clean, organized, and welcoming during overnight hours.
- Complete administrative tasks such as preparing reports, balancing accounts, and updating the reservation system.
- Follow all hotel policies involving security, confidentiality, and guest privacy.
- Prepare breakfast at the designated times to ensure a seamless transition into morning service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management, hotel management, or front desk operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of night audit procedures and basic hotel accounting practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and proper phone etiquette.
- Ability to work overnight independently while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to prepare breakfast following set schedules and standards.
- Prior hotel experience is helpful but not required; training is available for candidates committed to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
