Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hospitality spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques like carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and routine maintenance to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health regulations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and common spaces
- Handle janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Support housekeeping management with inventory control, scheduling assistance, and adherence to safety protocols
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and custodial procedures
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Experience with laundry operations and sanitation standards
- Background in janitorial or custodial roles demonstrating attention to detail and efficiency
- Customer service experience that highlights professionalism and effective communication skills
