What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Country Home Kennels?
As needed, part-time help. Possibly 2-5 days a week, could be up to 30 hours. Experience with animals is a plus. Must be 18 years of age or over.
**Weekends and Holidays are a MUST. If you cannot accommodate, please do not apply.**
General duties include keeping cages/runs clean and sanitized; walking, feeding(also includes administering meds) and picking up after the animals; and reporting on the animal's condition to its owner, a veterinarian or rescue workers.
Answering phones, as well as scheduling appointments.
Responsible for keeping lobby area cleaned at all times.
Kennel assistants will also be responsible of the bathing and nail trimming.
