Purpose of the Position
The purpose of this role is to provide guidance and support to students participating in the podcast and film club. This includes helping them understand different mediums, improving their skills in podcasting and filming, and teaching them essential techniques such as writing, research, interviews, editing, and on-air presentation for podcasts, as well as storyboard creation, scriptwriting, directing, and format design for silent movies and short films.Duties and Responsibilities
The following activities are associated with this role:- Creating plots for a film and a podcast
- Lecturing students on the essentials of podcasting and filming
- Guiding students in writing, researching, interviewing, and editing
Qualifications
This position requires previous experience. If you have worked in a similar capacity before, your application will be given preference.Extra Duty Compensation
If selected, the position holder will receive extra duty compensation under Category 1: Student Club Sponsor. The rate of compensation is determined by multiplying the base salary (Step 1, Level 1) for the school year then in effect by 2 percent.
