The Opportunity
We are seeking top-tier College Admissions Consultants with demonstrated success helping students gain admission to highly selective colleges and universities. This role is ideal for experienced counselors who want to apply their expertise to high-impact work while operating within a structured, professional counseling environment.
Consultants will work virtually with high school students during after-school hours, delivering a proven
Counsly-designed curriculum while providing individualized, expert guidance—particularly around college essays and application strategy.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading virtual 1:1 and small-group counseling sessions with high school students
- Advising students on admissions strategy, positioning, and college selection
- Providing expert-level feedback on personal statements and supplemental essays
- Helping students navigate competitive admissions processes with clarity and confidence
- Executing Counsly’s structured curriculum with consistency and professionalism
- Upholding high standards of quality, ethics, and student outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience helping students gain admission to selective or top-tier colleges and universities
- Proven success in college counseling, admissions consulting, or equivalent work
- Strong essay coaching and narrative development expertise
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to build trust quickly with students and families in a virtual setting
- Reliable availability during after-school/evening hours (Pacific Time)
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in private college admissions consulting or selective advising programs
- Track record of student placements at highly selective institutions
- Experience working with structured curricula and program-based delivery
- Familiarity with supporting first-generation or under-resourced students (without compromising rigor)
