What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of School Linked Services position at Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota?
We are seeking a Director of School Linked Services to lead our exceptional team of Clinicians and Clinical Trainees providing mental health services to schools (elementary, middle, and high schools).

This position requires licensure as a mental health professional and credentialed to provide licensure supervision. We prefer certification in MAP and TF-CBT.
This candidate will oversee the application and management of the School Linked Grant and program budget in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
Job responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services to maintain School Linked Services, explore ways to further develop services and ensure that providers have adequate supervision
- Teach and orient SL therapists to requirements for documentation, including Diagnostic Assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Promote CSSM SL services with school districts and community stakeholders within our region
- Work with CSSM’s Intake Department to assist with case assignments and assure caseload balance
- Participate in monthly clinical supervisor meeting with the Director of Clinical Services
- Participate as a member of the CSSM Leadership team
- Provide at minimum bi-monthly program meetings with SL clinicians
- Provide clinical orientation and training for clinicians and practitioners
- Facilitate consultation group once per month and as requested
- Provide individual supervision to the SL supervisor and designated SL therapists
- Review and sign clinical documentation of clinical trainees (DA’s and treatment plans)
- Work closely with the SL Consultant (Deb), Director of Clinical Services and occasionally with the Executive Director to complete grant applications and ensure compliance with regulations
- Work closely with CSSM administration to develop and maintain program budget, staffing, and evaluation of the SL program
- Keep the Director of Clinical Services informed of School Linked Program needs (resources, supplies, staff, etc)
- Negotiate MOU’s with each school district superintendent and obtain signatures via email every June
- Lead meetings with each district three times per year (2 meetings in person and a mid-year meeting via TEAMS) with Program Coordinators
- Assess Staffing needs and assignments with Program Coordinator input
This position does require:
- local travel (driver's license/automobile insurance required)
- ability to sit for up to 60 minutes
- ability to enter and exit buildings/facilities/offices
- basic computer skills (typing/EMR)

Salary : $57,000 - $70,928
