Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Content Specialist to help grow our online presence and connect with our local community. This role is focused on creating engaging, informative content—especially short-form video—that builds trust and drives client inquiries.
This is not a corporate marketing role. We are looking for someone who can execute content consistently and effectively, particularly in a service-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, and similar platforms
- Film and edit short-form video content (Reels/TikTok-style) with our clinicians
- Develop educational and relatable mental health content
- Schedule and publish posts (3–5x per week)
- Respond to comments and messages professionally
- Highlight clinician specialties and services
- Track basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, inquiries)
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media for a business (service-based or healthcare preferred)
- Strong video editing skills (Reels, TikTok, CapCut, etc.)
- Ability to create engaging, professional, and on-brand content
- Understanding of social media trends and best practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be local to Long Island for in-person content creation
