Role: Business Analyst I - IT Asset Management

Responsibilities: Support daily administration of IT hardware assets within ServiceNow HAM, ensuring data accuracy, inventory reconciliation, and compliance. Assist with lifecycle transactions, audits, reporting, and ServiceNow configuration. Develop and document hardware standards, streamline procurement, and support governance activities. Maintain asset data, support discovery processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, STEM, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years in IT Asset Management or related roles; 3-5 years preferred
• Knowledge of IT hardware, peripherals, and asset management software such as ServiceNow
• Certification in ServiceNow HAM Fundamentals (or ability to obtain), with preferred certifications like HAM-CIS, CHAMP, CITAM, or ITIL 4
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and analytical skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities
• High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
  
  

Key Duties

• Maintain accurate asset and CMDB data
• Support physical audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Assist in developing hardware standards and procurement processes
• Process hardware lifecycle transactions in ServiceNow
• Generate reports and dashboards for asset tracking
• Contribute to process documentation and compliance activities
• Support hardware discovery and integration updates
• Work with teams and vendors to resolve asset issues
