Position Summary
Servers at Coucou are responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience from the first greeting to the final farewell. This role requires strong menu knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to read the room—whether it’s a casual apéro at the bar or a celebratory dinner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests
- Guide guests through the menu, specials, wine, cocktails, and apéritifs
- Execute service with proper timing and pacing, especially during peak hours
- Maintain clean, organized tables and stations throughout service
- Accurately input orders and communicate with kitchen and bar teams
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with grace and professionalism
- Uphold Coucou’s standards for hospitality, presentation, and demeanor
- Support team members and contribute to a positive FOH culture
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- Prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant
- Strong understanding of food, wine, and cocktail service (or eagerness to learn)
- Calm, confident presence in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and warmth
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- A genuine love of hospitality and making people feel welcome
