What You'll Do
Provide highly individualized and consistent supervision and instruction to students with severe special education needs, ensuring their safety and progress at all times in community and vocational settings.
Facilitate transportation to and from off-campus worksites, often assisting with mobility as needed.
Meticulously understand and implement each student's specific medical, behavioral, communication, and educational protocols (including positive behavior support plans), maintaining current knowledge of their comprehensive student information.
Collaborate extensively with the Transition Specialist, Vocational Coordinator and the multidisciplinary IEP Team (including therapists, behavior specialists, and medical staff) to adapt job tasks, implement assistive technology, and design highly individualized vocational activities.
