Job Coach promotes the development of skill acquisition and experiential learning through community exploration.
Responsible for providing supervision, employment readiness training and support, and skills development to individuals as part of the employment supports program. The DSS/Coach assists in coordination, placement, and support of individuals in community-based programs or employment settings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school degree or GED. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred, but not required. We will train the right people!
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift and support body weight of any program individual with the assistance of another employee.
- Valid Driver's License, good driving record and a willingness to use agency vehicle in the course of employment.
