Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing, fitting, and organizing costumes for productions.
- Support costume construction, sewing, and alteration processes using sewing machines.
- Help maintain detailed inventory records of costumes and retail products
- Prepare costumes for fittings and performances by cleaning, steaming, or repairing garments as needed
- Proven experience or strong interest in fashion design, theatrical costume work, or related artistic fields
- Skilled in sewing techniques using sewing machines
- Experience working in theater or film productions is highly desirable
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with the public on the retail portion of the shop
- Tech savvy a plus
