This role supports a wide variety of construction activities including grading, reinforcement, concrete application, equipment operation, plumbing, and carpentry. Work is hands-on, physical, and performed in a team environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing and able to travel to other job sites across the U.S. after this project is completed. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with potential for overtime and second-shift work as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Perform a variety of general labor duties in a safe, efficient manner and according to project specifications
- Use power tools such as drills, saws, and handheld grinders, as well as hand tools including tape measures, hammers, pliers, shovels, and rakes
- Operate light and heavy equipment such as shotcrete pumps, air compressors, rough terrain forklifts, skid loaders, and sit-down forklifts
- Operate personnel lifting equipment including scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by removing hazards, cleaning up dirt and debris, and following all safety procedures
- Assist with grading, structural reinforcement, concrete placement, plumbing, carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Follow company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Knowledge & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of construction processes; training will be provided
- OSHA-10 certification (required prior to employment)
Experience
- Preferred: One year or more years of experience in construction or another labor-based role
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Preferred: Forklift and light equipment operation; welding, concrete, fiberglass, or specialty construction experience
Skills & Abilities

- Proficient in operating hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents such as instructions, layouts, and simple drawings
- Effective communication skills, including verbal and listening
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently
- Ability to work safely in an active construction environment; OSHA safety experience/awareness
- Common sense, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Physical
- Strength and stamina, including the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Regularly use hands to handle or feel; walk, stand, climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must lift 70 lbs. from floor to waist, 90 lbs. from waist to chest, and 25 lbs. from chest to overhead.
- Must carry 50 lbs. for 50 feet, push a 100 lb. wheeled cart for 100 feet, and drag 50 lbs. for 100 feet.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in outdoor construction environments with exposure to weather, dirt, etc., and moving machinery
- Noise levels are typically moderate to loud
- Overtime and extended hours may be required depending on project schedules
