What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Prep/In-shop position at Cosmos Pizza?
Cosmo‘s Pizza Lafayette is looking for an energetic and outgoing individual to assist us in making people happy with pizza in a fast paced, hustle driven environment.
Basic responsibilities will include:
- Food prep
- Taking orders and understanding POS system
- Opening the shop and cleaning
- Distributing slices to the hungry masses
- Cash handling
- Putting away food orders
- Maintaining our high-traffic lobby
- Communicating effectively with a wide variety of people
This is a full time position. Monday-Friday daytime availability is strongly preferred. Cosmo’s is a pleasant, no nonsense place to work. We see high volumes so we are looking for hustle and energy from candidates. Expect to average over $20/hr after factoring in cash tips handed to you before you go home every day.
Prepare to work long hours on your feet with few breaks, with at least one “double“ shift that goes from 9-8ish with a break after the lunch rush.
Bonus points for those willing to learn pizza specific skills like cooking and working these deck ovens!
