Overview
Sweet Sisters Bake Shop is looking for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm, efficiency, and attention to detail will help create a lively atmosphere where customers feel valued. Also, you will assist the baker by making batters and fillings, baking cookies, cupcakes and other treats for our storefront. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in POS systems and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service.
- Take accurate cake orders
- Manage cashier duties, including cash handling and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Support food handling procedures and ensure the proper storage of ingredients.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards
- Fold boxes and ensure the front-of-house remains fully stocked
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
