What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess/Host position at Cosmopolitan Grill?
We’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and energetic Host/Hostess to be the first face our guests see when they walk through the door. If you love people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can light up a room with great personality and confident eye contact, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
- Greet every guest with a genuine smile, strong eye contact, and upbeat energy
- Manage the seating chart, waitlist, and reservations
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Quote accurate wait times and keep guests informed
- Answer phones and assist with takeout pickups
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth flow
- Keep the entryway tidy, inviting, and organized
- Help reset tables and support the front-of-house team during busy moments
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with positivity and professionalism
