Responsibilities
- Supervise dog playgroups, ensuring safe interactions and positive socialization among pets
- Use animal handling skills to monitor dog behavior, intervene when necessary, and prevent conflicts
- Maintain cleanliness of play areas and kennels to uphold health standards
- Provide pet sitting services including feeding, watering, and administering medications.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior, health status, and daycare updates
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of supplies or large dogs safely and comfortably
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude toward pet owners
- Strong animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attentiveness
- Willingness to learn new skills related to pet care and safety protocols
- Dependable and punctual
- Must be comfortable working outside year around
