Duties
As a member of our maintenance team, you will assist with the ongoing maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our residential vacation rental properties.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in residential vacation rental properties
- Fabricating and installing various fixtures, furniture, and equipment when needed
- Responding to work orders and prioritizing tasks based on urgency
- Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and performing preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Supervising and coordinating the work of subcontractors when necessary
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation and own tools
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Proven experience in handyman or facility fixes
- Solid mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems
- Proficiency in English preferred
- Must be flexible and reliable when needed for on-call fixes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must clean up their own work neatly
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be willing to pass a simple background check
- Weekday availability preferred
- Must reside within 20 minutes of ZIP code 33301
Position & Growth Opportunity
This position begins as part-time and could transition into a full-time role.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, comfortable troubleshooting a variety of maintenance issues, and capable of responding effectively when problems arise.
