Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our team in Birmingham, MI. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, digital marketing, and content creation, with a strong understanding of how to engage audiences across multiple channels.

We are looking for someone who is both creative and execution-oriented, with excellent writing skills, a strong visual eye, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

· Manage day-to-day social media activities across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant channels.

· Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives.

· Create engaging content, including posts, Instagram Stories, Reels, short-form videos, and graphics.

· Capture photos and videos of providers, treatments, events, and behind-the-scenes activities to create authentic, engaging content.

· Write compelling social media captions that reflect BOYD’s brand voice and encourage audience engagement.

· Monitor social media trends, identify relevant content opportunities, and recommend creative ways to grow engagement and reach.

· Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions, coordinating responses with the appropriate team members.

· Track social media performance and provide insights to help optimize content and engagement.

Email & SMS Marketing

· Develop, design, and execute marketing email newsletters, promotional campaigns, and patient communications.

· Create compelling subject lines, email copy, and calls to action that encourage engagement and conversions.

· Plan and execute SMS marketing campaigns to promote services, special offers, events, and other patient engagement initiatives.

· Maintain email and SMS marketing calendars to ensure timely and coordinated communications.

· Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and other key engagement metrics.

Content Creation

· Develop engaging written and visual content for social media, email newsletters, SMS campaigns, and other marketing materials.

· Design marketing assets using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

· Edit short-form videos for social media using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms.

Marketing & Event Support

· Assist with planning, promoting, and coordinating patient events

· Identify opportunities for community engagement, local partnerships, and brand awareness in the Birmingham and greater Metro Detroit area.

Qualifications

· Strong writing and editing skills

· Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong attention to detail

· A passion for the beauty and wellness industry

· A team-oriented approach with a positive attitude

· Strong understanding of the local community and ability to identify relevant events and marketing opportunities
