We are looking for a Wellness Nurse Practitioner to join our fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinics located in West Des Moines and Ankeny, IA.
The Wellness Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care, perform aesthetic and medical procedures, and work collaboratively with our providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Work Schedule
Ankeny location - Thursdays: 9:00am - 6:00pm
West Des Moines location - Monday: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Tuesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm, Wednesday 8:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm

Ankeny location - Thursdays: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a medical office working as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
- 2 years wellness, hormone therapy, OB/GYN, or nutrition experience preferred.
- Graduate of accredited P.A. or N.P. program.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients seeking to have a better quality of life within their health, wellness, and fitness journey.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments. Order and review lab results.
- Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options and health lifestyle choices.
- Provide counseling and support to patients.
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- The physician assistant must deliver care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines developed by the physician and physician assistant and based on the physician's delegator style.
- Confirm with patients their clear understanding that a physician assistant is treating them.
- Physician assistant shall review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well as mutually agreed upon guidelines for the practice.
- Physician assistant shall clarify and familiarize all issues related to supervision methods and style of delegating patient care with the supervising physician.
