We are seeking an experienced dental front office professional who can independently manage scheduling, insurance verification, patient communication, financial collections, and day-to-day front office operations with minimal training.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of recent dental front-desk experience. Applications without recent dental office experience will not be considered.
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and professional Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in all aspects of dental front desk operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, patient communication, and financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in/check out patients while providing a welcoming front-desk experience.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily schedule efficiently.
- Manage the daily schedule efficiently while helping maintain productive provider schedules.
- Verify dental insurance, obtain breakdowns, and communicate benefits clearly to patients.
- Collect co-pays and assist with financial discussions in a professional, courteous manner.
- Enter and update patient information accurately in practice management tool.
- Confirm appointments and handle patient communications via phone, email, and text.
- Coordinate smoothly with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain a polished, professional presence as the representative of the practice’s front office.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent dental front-desk experience required, application will not be reviewed with no recent dental office experience.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, PPO insurance verification, and front-desk operations.
- Experience with Open Dental or another dental practice management system is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a calm, polished, professional demeanor.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork values are essential.

Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday / Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (alternating)
- Full-time/Part Time position with rotating Friday/Saturday schedule.
