Hello Future Cosens Martial Arts Staff Member,

This is Charlie Cosens. The Owner / President of Cosens Martial Art studios. I know… it seems strange that I am writing to you directly in a job ad.

We like to keep things real at Cosens Martial Arts.. no room for corporate “Mumbo Jumbo.”

You have read the same old employee recruitment ads over… and over… and over…

My goal is to explain what we have to offer as martial art Coaches, Life Coaches, and as an Employer.

I'm going to try to keep this short and to the point as I'm sure you have a very busy schedule.

A few years back I set a standard for myself.. To only surround myself with people who are progressing in life and not stagnant procrastinators or pessimists. Due to this standard we now have an amazing staff of twenty five “Go Getters” who are excited about coming to work and have a positive attitude toward their careers and the future.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others.

Someone who actually wants to wake up in the morning and feel excited to go to work and then leave at the end of the day knowing that they made a difference.

Martial Arts is the vehicle we use to make lasting changes in people's lives. You would be amazed by the reasons people join our classes. Needs ranging from children having difficulty focusing in school to bullying issues to middle aged men and women who are stressed out of their minds looking for a way to escape.

As a business we believe in giving as much value as possible to our customers / students so we can then give as much value to our staff members.

“How does that work..? What do you mean by that..? You may be asking.

Along with very competitive salaries we also profit share.

I'm not talking about miniscule .005% profit shares that may be offered at big corporate outfits.

We offer shares of 10% - 20% of net profits month to month.

I know what you are thinking… “It sounds too good to be true... “ Right..?

Would you like to know how this all works..? I'll tell you.

After a quick phone interview you will be invited into one of our bi weekly staff trainings / meetings to meet our staff. During the training you will have an opportunity to ask our staff members anything you wish. You will also experience a day in the life of a Cosens Martial Arts staff member. We want you to be just as excited about joining us as we are about having you jump aboard!

After you are selected to join our team you will undergo martial art business training, sales training, and classroom management principles training that will develop you into a world class instructor.

Did I mention that throughout the process you will be trained as a martial artist 2-3 times per week? As a result of this you will be in the best shape of your life. That's a guarantee!

This position's base salary starts at $45,000 salary pay plus monthly profit sharing.

The position also comes with benefit options such as paid vacation, healthcare, or retirement plans.

Not too shabby.. Huh?
