What are the responsibilities and job description for the Domain Administrator position at Corvid Technologies LLC?
Corvid's Range EngineeringInstrumentation team is looking for an experienced professional to support Domain Administration for a variety of test systems. The candidate will join a blended team that provides support for flight tests at various test ranges.
This position will provide technical support to ensure all systems and servers are maintained and operational according to mission requirements. Candidate will work with industry and government stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve systems as well as recommending solutions to technical challenges.
Some typical tasking will include:
- Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and system
- Evaluate and test Domains/OS upgrades prior to and through deployment - including creating custom solutions for wide-scale deployments and security risk mitigations
- Execute the Change Management process, ensuring timely, efficient, and non-disruptive delivery of services
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between and during test events
- Monitor security alerts for critical endpoint/server vulnerabilities and address following suggested mitigation procedures to maximize availability and minimize risk
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience is required (experience may substitute for degree)
- Candidate must possess IAT Level II Certification (Security or equivalent)
- Preferred candidate will have Linux Administration experience or familiarity with Linux
- Experience managing DoD Information Systems is a plus, specifically supporting flight test activities
- Position will require travel up to 25% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations
