About the RoleWe're hiring a senior, hands-on Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect to own the design, implementation, and evolution of our DW/BI platform. This isn't a pure strategy role — you'll be deeply involved in architecture decisions and actual delivery, working across data modeling, ETL/ELT, analytics, security, and governance.If you're the kind of architect who still enjoys getting into the weeds of a complex data problem, mentoring a team, and seeing your work power real business decisions — this is the role for you.What You'll DoArchitecture & DevelopmentDesign and implement end-to-end, resilient Data Warehouse architecture with a focus on data quality, error handling, auditability, and scalabilityDevelop and manage enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts supporting current and future analytics needsModel and implement dimensional data structures (facts, dimensions) using industry best practicesDesign, build, test, and deploy large-scale ETL/ELT pipelinesReview existing DW/BI architecture to identify gaps, redundancies, and optimization opportunitiesPropose and drive improvements to data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutionsAnalytics & Business IntelligenceBuild enterprise reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics solutionsAnalyze complex datasets to surface trends, patterns, and actionable business insightsEnsure BI solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and usabilitySecurity, Governance & ComplianceOwn the end-to-end DW security architecture — from design through implementationDefine and enforce authentication, authorization, and data access controlsImplement policy-, rule-, and attribute-based access controlsManage data-at-rest and data-in-transit securityApply data governance best practices for lineage, stewardship, and regulatory complianceLeadership & DeliveryServe as technical lead and mentor for the DW/BI teamPartner with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to define requirements and timelinesTranslate complex requirements into clear, implementable architectural strategiesTrack delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies proactivelyOperations & QualityProvide senior-level production support including troubleshooting and performance tuningDesign and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processesProduce high-quality project artifacts — specs, test plans, ops guides, DR plansWhat We're Looking For8–12 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing, BI, and AnalyticsExpert-level command of the Microsoft BI stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS (Tabular/Multidimensional), SSRS, Power BIStrong SQL programming, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development skillsDeep understanding of DW/BI security, performance tuning, indexing, and query optimizationExperience delivering BI through enterprise portals with robust security controlsFamiliarity with SQL Server Agent or other orchestration/scheduling toolsStrong documentation discipline — specs, architecture reviews, DR plansBonus Points ForExperience with Big Data architectures and technologiesHands-on exposure to Microsoft Data Fabric or DatabricksCloud-based DW modernization experienceWho Thrives HereYou're self-driven, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning a platform end-to-end.
