Job Overview:
As a Janitor at Cortec, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facility.
Custodian Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and other work areas.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakroom areas.
- Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the maintenance department.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper use, and safety precautions.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
