Job Description
The Director, D2C eCommerce is responsible for owning and driving eCommerce strategy and creating world-class shopping experience for our customers.
Reporting to the VP, Digital Marketing and eCommerce, this person will oversee Corsair and Drop global D2C stores and web operations ensuring we meet growth and revenue goals, while driving strategic initiatives. This person will also nurture a high-performing team and work closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure alignment with company goals and targets.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Oversee the day-to-day sales operations of Corsair.com and Drop.com platforms to meet revenue and profit goals
Manager and optimize D2C promotional calendar, pricing strategies, and inventory planning to drive growth
Work with Channel Marketing, GTM and Corporate Marketing to develop and execute sales campaigns and promotions to drive revenue growth and conversion
Collaborate with our Web Experience team and Digital Marketing to optimize D2C sales funnel, including website performance, user experience, product page optimization, and marketing channel performance
Track and analyze performance to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
Work closely with demand planners and channel marketing on accurate forecasting
Oversee product and content merchandising on D2C platforms
Partner with wider Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to align initiatives that drive broader company goals
Lead new eCommerce initiatives such as new market expansion and social commerce
Stay on top of eCommerce trends, technologies and competitive landscape
Essential Skills and Experience:
7+ years experience in direct-to-consumer businesses with merchandising and commercialization exposure, sales planning and experience managing site experience a plus.
3+ years of experience in eCommerce leadership, with a focus on direct-to-consumer sales required
BS/BA in marketing, economics, business, or other technical field preferred
Experience setting and managing to sales and margin goals using available analytics and cross-team resources
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute eCommerce strategies that drive results.
Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, conversion rate optimization, and email marketing.
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
Knowledge of the computer peripheral and hardware industry; able to understand and forecast the competitive landscapes, trends, etc.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual Salary Range $170,000—$210,000 USD
