Summary:
Corrosion Engineering is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who is responsible for examining products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Early morning shift. Monday - Thursday (10-12 hour shifts). Fridays and overtime when necessary (depending on company needs). Training for the position will be provided.
Quality Inspector Job Duties:
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Inspect parts to ensure that they meet production standards
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Measure products using a tape measure to the nearest 16th
- Accept or reject finished items
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
- Report inspection and test rubber in lab
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to work in a hot environment for 10-12 hour shifts.
- Able to operate a forklift (willing to train if no experience)
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Able to kneel, bend, and squat to perform required duties
- Punctuality and reliability
- MUST have quality control experience
- U.S citizenship is required
