JX Advanced Metals USA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. In this role, you will inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and company quality standards. You will use precision measuring equipment, perform inspections and testing, document results, and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for conformance to specifications.
- Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Measure dimensions, angles, radii, contours, surface finish, clearances, and other product characteristics.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Conduct hardness testing and other required quality tests.
- Verify the accuracy and condition of gauges and measuring instruments.
- Review and document inspection results, nonconformances, and test data.
- Assist in investigating defects and identifying root causes of quality issues.
- Determine disposition of nonconforming material in accordance with established procedures.
- Support quality activities in both manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on inspection equipment as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical school certification or related manufacturing training preferred.
- 6 months to 2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
