What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Service Administrator position at Correctional Solutions Group, LLC?
This position will be a Columbiana County employee.
Daily Duties and Responsibility Examples:
Manage the overall operations of a Columbiana County Jail healthcare operations.
Communicates and Works in unison with Columbiana County, the facility, regional, and corporate management to ensure the healthcare needs of the facility are consistently being met.
Maintains effective working relationships with CSG Staff Members and additional nursing staff, contracted providers, and outside provider agencies.
Creating schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet the healthcare needs of the detainees/inmates.
Always maintains all appropriate Nursing Licensure and insurance coverage.
Conducts RN Nursing services in support of detainees or inmates with serious health problems receive necessary intervention and treatment, ensuring compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and physical safety requirements.
Completes and submits regular operational reports as requested in support of RN Services.
Responds to all inquiries and requests for information by Columbiana County or CSG Security staff/ management.
Responsibilities for ordering and coordinating purchases necessary for efficient medical operations with CSG business office staff assigned to the jail facility.
Evaluates and recommends methods of improving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness within the scope of assigned services.
Coordinates the request of a Quarterly Physician Review from Contract Health Authority- Physician.
Immediately report any concerns to the Assistant Warden / Warden in a timely manner.
Coordinates the submission of the completed Quarterly Physician Review form to Facility Management.
Performs other task / assignments in relation to jail operations in support of Columbiana County Jail procedures, and Ohio Jail Standards within the normal scope of services related to recognized Healthcare requirements.
RN shall notify facility management immediately if for any reason there is any interruption to the required Nursing License.
Communicates closely with Contract Health Authority on all cases necessary in ensuring compliant healthcare.
Compliance with Applicable Rules, Regulations, Policies, Procedures, and Laws (Consistent with Ohio Jail Standards and all other standards to include PREA). RN shall provide services to the CSG- Columbiana County Jail that follow all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations now in effect or that become effective during the term hereof, including but not limited to:
Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
the Age and Discrimination in Employment Act.
the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, and the Immigrations Act of 1990 regarding employment verification and retention of verification forms of any individuals who will perform any labor or Services and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA) enacted on September 30, 1996.
Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Part 2 (regarding information about drug and alcohol abuse offenders).
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Rules and Regulations.
