Job Summary:
We are seekingan experienced and highly skilledIT Security & Network Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security of our IT infrastructure and managing our network systemsto ensure optimalperformance and security. This role involves developing and implementing securitypolicies, monitoring for security breaches, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintainsecurity policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze securityalerts and providetimely responses to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Implement and manage security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
- Experience navigating external audit requests and written responses from vendors or customers.
- Stay updated with the latest securitythreats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- Network Management:
- Design, implement, and managethe organization’s networkinfrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issuesto ensure minimal downtime.
- Ensure network infrastructure is secure and adheres to best practices.
- Plan and implementnetwork upgrades and expansions.
- Manage network-related documentation and ensure it is kept up to date.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and maintaindisaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during security and compliance audits.
- Implement and enforce data protection policies.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT security and network professionals.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
- Collaborate with other IT and business departments to align security and network initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT securityand network management.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and threat landscapes.
- Experience with security technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Experience with cloud securityand network management in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Strong project management skills.
