We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate and maintain CNC machinery while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with all safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines according to production schedules and established procedures
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Accurately complete production, quality, and inspection documentation
- Communicate production status, equipment concerns, and quality issues with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, work orders, and part labels
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and gauges is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently when needed
- Fast-paced manufacturing and production setting
- Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move parts up to 30 lbs. as needed
- Exposure to machine noise, industrial materials, and coolant
