What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classified Substitute: Child Nutrition Services position at Coronado Unified School District?
Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute with the Coronado Unified School District. You will be contacted shortly by a member of our Human Resources Department via email, through the Edjoin platform. This email will contain instructions on how to onboard as a substitute. We ask that when you receive it, you please read it carefully.
You will be required to complete the following prior to accepting any available positions.
1. Provide proof of a negative TB test dated within the last four years. If you do not have one, please contact your medical provider or Google CVS Minute Clinic for a location in your area.
2. Submit livescan fingerprints for Coronado Unified School District. These will be in addition to any livescan’ s previously completed for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, the San Diego County Office of Education, or any previous district of employment. The livescan form will be included in your email inviting you to begin processing as a substitute.
3. When livescan results are received, we will enter you into PowerSchool, our online system of records, and issue a substitute new hire checklist.
4. When your new hire checklist is completed, you will receive a processing update email with instructions on how to begin accepting current substitute positions in the district.
