JOB TITLE: Warehouse Driver I
Job Purpose Statement/s: The job of "Warehouse Driver I" is done for the purpose/s of transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; loading and unloading orders; operating heavy kitchen equipment; and making minor repairs.
Essential Job Functions:
* Processes materials (food, supplies, daily cash, receipts, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to the appropriate parties.
* Cleans warehouse and truck for the purpose of maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.
* Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites.
* Prepares documentation for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.
* Loads trucks for the purpose of processing site requirements.
* Unloads trucks for the purpose of providing items to appropriate work areas.
* Operates heavy kitchen equipment for the purpose of processing site requirements.
* Makes minor repairs to kitchen equipment for the purpose of maintaining equipment in safe operating condition.
Other Job Functions:
* Participates in various activities (e.g. meetings, training, etc.) for the purpose of receiving and/or conveying information

* Experience Required:
Prior job related experience
* Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required:
Skill to use English in verbal and written form, use correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, parents and administrators.
Knowledge of methods of receiving, storage, delivery of materials, methods of materials handling, safe driving practices.
Ability to sit and walk for prolonged periods, understand and carry out oral and written instruction, walk and/or drive for extended periods. Significant physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling, talking/hearing conversations, near/far visual acuity/depth perception/visual accommodation/field of vision.
* Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:
Valid Driver's License and evidence of insurability, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, Health Physical Examination, Tuberculosis Testing/Clearance.
