Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for overseeing and implementing the corporate sales program within their assigned district. This role focuses on assisting Cornwell tool dealers in maximizing their sales and profitability while also working to increase the number of Cornwell tool dealers within the district.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and support Cornwell franchise dealers.
  • Drive district dealer growth and meet sales forecasts and goals.
  • Conduct in-person sales meetings and events, utilizing company-prepared sales presentations, skills, and tools.
  • Develop and maintain geographic territory surveys in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Analyze dealer sales data and report potential issues to the Regional Manager. Complete all required reports by specified deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with dealers and support teams to drive business success and coach franchise owners.
  • Train and assist dealers in utilizing company programs to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Maintain weekly contact with each dealer within the assigned district to strengthen relationships and keep dealers informed of company policies and programs.
  • Communicate sales data and updates to the district on a weekly basis.
  • Be available to assist assigned dealers beyond normal working hours as needed.
  • Provide on-truck coaching visits to dealers within the district on a weekly basis.
  • Utilize data and tools to focus on business health and increase the profitability of franchise units.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma / GED.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the mobile tool business or equivalent.

Specific Skills

  • Demonstrated supervisory, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven sales ability.

Systems (hardware, software, computer, etc.)

  • Manage basic computer functions
  • Able to navigate internal computer systems
  • Microsoft Office experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical Activities include stooping and bending, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles; reaching short distances; walking long distances of up to 3-5 miles per day when assisting a mobile dealer; pulling/pushing, using upper extremities to exert a 150 pound force in order to draw, drag, haul, tug or push objects in a sustained motion; and doing repetitive motions of the wrist, hand and/or fingers.
  • Physical Requirements are moderate. The incumbent exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 85 pounds sporadically, up to 70 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly as well as exerting up to 300 pounds of force while assisting in loading and displaying tool vans, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Duties may occasionally be performed under objectionable conditions such as extreme temperatures, humidity, noise, dust, and dirt due to travel responsibilities.
  • Physical activities include stooping and bending, reaching short distances, and walking long distances (up to 3-5 miles per day) when assisting mobile dealers.
  • The role involves pulling/pushing with upper extremities to exert a force of up to 150 pounds, repetitive motions of the wrist, hand, and fingers, and lifting moderate weights. The incumbent may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 85 pounds sporadically, up to 70 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly, with a potential exertion of up to 300 pounds when assisting in loading and displaying tool vans.

Motor Vehicle Requirements

  • Must maintain a current driver's license in the state of residence.
  • Must have a vehicle suitable for transporting products within the district.
  • Must maintain adequate liability and collision insurance coverage.
