Role Purpose

Lead the development of measurement and inspection strategies that enable quality, process capability, and data-driven decision making as technologies transition from development into manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement inspection and metrology solutions aligned with manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensure measurement systems support both early development learning and high-volume production needs.
  • Work across engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to integrate inspection into production workflows.
  • Apply data and measurement insight to improve process robustness and scalability.
  • Support transition from development-focused measurement to sustained manufacturing control.

Required Experience & Attributes

  • Broad technical capability across multiple measurement approaches and technologies.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions through credibility and data.
  • Experience supporting scale-up from R&D or pilot environments into manufacturing.
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Must be available for significant travel, primarily domestic, to multiple locations to support business needs. International travel could be required as well.

Preferred Capabilities

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 8 years of applied experience in metrology, inspection, or manufacturing engineering. Will consider less years of experience with advanced degree.

The range for this position is $95,144.00 - $130,823.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
